Started an AirBNB in Phoenix….fabulous idea! Look into it for passive income!

This whole AirBNB story started around June of 2021. I had gone to rehab for alcohol in March and my wife booked a trip to Phoenix and Sedona AZ in April as a getaway from me getting away essentially at rehab.

As a side note, some rehab places are very strict on outside communication, so I only talked to her 1–2 times in the 10 days I was there, for 5 minutes each….

Anyway, she fell in love with Arizona after her week there. She then went back a month later, drove across the country with 1 of our dogs, and stayed for a whole month due to the fact she could work remote. We contemplated from the beginning moving to AZ possibly, so after her first month she decided to stay another month, had a realtor and already had places schedule to look at. Everything just happened so fast I don’t know how we got lucky enough to even find a place in our budget since we still had our house in Michigan.

We put an offer in on probably 4 places total and one got accepted which is we think lucky as all hell. A lot of people here put in 25 offers before they get a place. Well this is what we have heard from multiple people in the area about the market here. So side note, but if you want a place here, be ready to put in an offer same day, be preapproved for your mortgage or if you are really well off, have a lot of cash on hand.

So to it we luckily found a 2BD 2BA Condo in a good area, for way less than it should of been and…
